my brother's visit to colonel sander's original restaurant in corbin, kentucky. this is where the colonel first started selling his famous fried chicken in the 1930s. but it is not the first kfc. pete harman in utah was the first franchisee to start selling his chicken. he coined the name "kentucky fried chicken" for his restaurant in salt lake city, utah in 1952.
