i gaze out over dubai from the burj khalifa’s highest observatory during my special "at the top sky" visit. i enjoyed juice and refreshments at the plush sky lounge. level 148 is the world’s highest open-air observatory at 1,820 feet up. i watched the sun set behind palm jumeirah from this special vantage point. i then rode a special elevator to level 125, situated one floor above the public ‘at the top’ deck. now completely dark, i enjoy one of the famous fountain shows from 124 floors above the lake. also included in the video are views of the building's exterior and the dubai lake and fountain. the video concludes with the new years eve fireworks around burj khalifa on january 1, 2016.
