the bush compound is the summer home of 41st president of the united states george h. w. bush. it is located on walker's point. walker's point juts out into the atlantic ocean in in the town of kennebunkport. the property has been a family retreat for more than a century.
in this video i visit the small town of kennebunkport. i walk along dock square and across the mathew j. lanigan bridge. i then drive out to parson's way for great views of the rocky coast and the bush compound.
while recording views of president h.w. bush's estate at walker point he came into view. not knowing it at the time, i stopped recording just as he came into the picture. he was being pushed back into the house in his wheel chair. by the time i realized what had happened, and got the camera recording again, they pushed him into the house with his cute white dog there to greet him.
