nubble light in coastal york, maine. i enter sohier park and immediately see nubble light sitting atop the large rock island a few hundred feet off shore. cape neddick lighthouse stands 41 feet tall but the light is 88 feet above sea level because of the additional height of the steep rocky islet on which it sits.
