lake george, nicknamed the queen of american lakes, is a long, narrow oligotrophic lake located at the southeast base of the adirondack mountains, in the northeastern portion of the state of new york.
this video begins as i take a scenic drive on the prospect mountain veteran's memorial highparkway which provides several scenic overlooks of the lake and the town of lake george. next i take a drive through the town of lake george making stops at the old courthouse and the only remaining howard johnson's restaurant in the world.
