watkins glen state park

watkins glen state park is located outside the town of watkins glen, new york. the centerpiece of the park is a 400-foot-deep narrow gorge cut through rock by a stream, glen creek. in this video i explore the beginning of the gorge trail along the stream which runs over, under and along the park's 19 waterfalls by way of stone bridges and more than 800 stone steps. unfortunately the 800+ steps were more than my arthritic feet could handle, but i explored as much of the trail as i was able.
